TV uniform receiver ("Einheitsempfänger" E1

In August 1938 the post minister assigned the corresponding industry to creat a german uniform receiver during one year. The small receiver DE 7 R from the the "Fernseh AG" served as prototype, a from Telefunken developed television tube with square screen (the first square screen in the world) and a special transition valve were taken over. The manufacturing documents were finished in autumn 1939. About 50 models were built. They were never built in series, because of the war.
